Re: CRO Copywriter, AI-First — application from Khalid Rind

Puffy's JD reads like a spec sheet for what I've spent 18 months building.

Not because I've written a mattress sales page before — I haven't. Because I built the AI content engine architecture that makes Puffy's vision operationally possible.

Let me be direct about the gap first: I haven't written direct-response copy for a US mattress brand, I don't know the fight against Purple, Nectar, Casper and Saatva the way an industry insider does, and I'm in Melbourne — a 16-hour offset from the US. If you need someone in a US timezone for real-time standups, that's a real constraint. So I went and learned Puffy anyway — this hub's Door 02 is the competitive teardown and growth audit I built before writing this letter.

An AI content engine, not just AI-tool proficiency. The JD wants "feedback loops that make our AI smarter with every test." I built exactly that: TGEF (Trust-Gated Execution Formula) — a 5-step workflow (Plan → Execute → Verify → Correct → Commit) running daily across a multi-agent platform. Every output is checked for brand alignment and verified against source before it ships. That's what AI-first looks like in production.

Prompt-library architecture at scale. Puffy wants someone to "develop and iterate sophisticated prompts" and "maintain a central library." I build reusable AI "Gems" — custom experts pre-loaded with brand voice, conversion frameworks and audience insight: one for landing pages, one for email, one for ads, one for social. Each gets smarter with every project.

Volume for high-velocity testing. Most copywriters launch 1–2 tests a month; Puffy wants 10–15. That's industrialised production. My content-atomisation framework turns one pillar asset into 80+ pieces — the "testing-velocity machine" is an engineering problem, and I've already built it.

The 90/10 human-in-the-loop model. AI handles 90% of phrasing and structural optimisation; the human keeps the final 10% for taste, authenticity and brand voice. AI scale, human craft — not one or the other.

I'm not the traditional CRO copywriter with five years of e-commerce behind them. I'm the person who builds the engine that makes ten copywriters more productive — and writes the copy that flows through it. If Puffy wants someone to operate an existing system, I'm not your fit. If Puffy wants someone to architect and run the AI-powered conversion-content engine, that's exactly what I do.

The full proof is live at this hub: the brand teardown, the AI creative, and the content-engine design. I'd love to walk through it. I can overlap with US hours from 6pm AEST and I'm flexible on schedule.
